Mission:

Protecting lives and property in the college using scientific principles. clear systematic procedures and instructions and distinguished human cadres to control the dangers and prevent or reduce them.

Objectives:

-       Preparing annual reports and submitting them to the relevant authorities.

-      Providing security and safety for all college employees (faculty, students, employees, and workers).

-      Securing laboratories, facilities, and individuals against fires, disasters, and crises.

-      Spreading awareness among employees and students on the best behavior during crises and disasters.

-      Training employees and students on the best behavior during crises and disasters.

-      Achieving security and safety standards within the college.

Activities:

-      Preparing semi-annual reports and statistics and submitting them to the relevant authorities.

-      We are preparing protection and security plans for college facilities.

-      Develop emergency and evacuation plans and implement scenarios that simulate how to act in the event of a crisis.

-      Continuous communication and cooperation with the university’s civil defense and Protection Unit.

-      Ensure the validity of firefighting systems and their compliance with specifications in coordination with the relevant authorities.

-      Develop monitoring and surveillance plans

-      Develop plans and implement training programs

-      Follow up on the implementation of security and safety standards in all scientific and administrative departments of the college

-      Assessing the risks and crises that may occur.

-      Working to spread awareness of safety and security issues through educational seminars and lectures.

-      Preparing educational studies related to the implementation and application of the specifications contained in the civil defense and protection regulations for various activities and facilities at the college.

-      Preparing guidance boards on safety and security rules for students and staff.

-      Preparing workshops to ensure continuous training for students and staff at the college.

-      Preparing training courses on security, safety, civil protection, and first aid

-      Encouraging workers and employers to follow and apply occupational safety and health procedures to reduce work risks.
