Mission of the unit:

The Quality Assurance Unit at Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, seeks to implement a quality management system that includes competency-based educational programs and supports the advancement of scientific research and community services in line with local, regional, and international needs in line with the faculty’s mission.

Vision of the unit: 

The Quality Assurance Unit at Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, aspires to become a distinguished competitor in the field of applying the quality assurance system and international academic accreditation to serve the continuous development in the fields of nursing education, scientific research, and community service.

Objectives of the unit:

1. Disseminate and strengthen the culture of accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional capacity in the faculty among academic staff members, supportive staff, administrators, students, and community parties.

2. Follow up the development and creation of scientific research and graduate studies programs to keep up with international standards in nursing field in line with local needs.

3. Implement a comprehensive evaluation system, follow-up, and continuous improvement of educational effectiveness based on national and international standards of university education.

4. Strengthen the communication channels between the faculty and various institutions and centers, allowing the exchange of experiences in the field of quality.

5. Improve the beneficiaries' satisfaction with the services provided by the faculty and working to improve them.

6. Renew the faculty’s local accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation and obtain international accreditation.

7. Contribute to the development of the capabilities of academic staff members and the supportive staff in the field of quality and accreditation.
