The Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing was established in 1995. This department qualifies students to deal with patients in critical care units and emergency departments because of severe diseases, accidents and injuries that require rapid, decisive and correct intervention to save the lives of these patients, through teaching courses that provide students with information based on scientific evidence, and intellectual, practical and behavioural skills.
