History:

The Community Health Nursing Unit was established since the establishment of the Higher Institute of Nursing, Alexandria University in 1955. This unit had continued to provide theoretical and clinical education in community health nursing field until 1994. In this year, the scientific departments were established including Community Health Nursing Department.
